Workplace visits
Visit distinguished workplaces with social educators where professional expertise is of the highest standard
On 21 May, the full day will be dedicated to workplace visits. These visits offer a unique opportunity to gain insight into current methods and approaches used at Danish workplaces, where the expertise of social educators is of the highest standard. Participants can visit up to two different workplaces from a broad selection that works with various vulnerable and marginalized groups.
The workplaces available for visits will be categorized into four groups based on the population they serve:
- Socially vulnerable people (homeless shelters, addiction centers, crisis centers, social housing initiatives, etc.)
- Psychiatry (social psychiatry, treatment psychiatry, etc.)
- At-risk children and youth (children's and youth homes, preventive initiatives for vulnerable children and families, special youth education programs, etc.)
- People with disabilities (residential facilities, education, employment, and activity services, etc.)
Each visit includes a brief presentation about the target group, methods used, and experiences, followed by a tour of the workplace. You will visit the workplaces in small groups of up to 20 people.
The various workplaces available for your visit will be announced at a later this year. As a registered participant, you will be notified when it’s time to select the workplaces you wish to visit.
