Adversity and trauma are part of life. Some experience more challenging events that take a greater toll. In their work, social educators play a significant role in the understanding and guiding of people through the effects of adversity and trauma. Helping find and develop resilient resources within is an important part of the work of social educators.
This presentation will focus on taking a strength-based approach to building safety, belonging, mastery, independence and generosity in the lives of people to help them to thrive.
