Health insurance

As a citizen of another European country you are covered while visiting Denmark by public health insurance within the limits agreed upon between your own country and the Danish authorities. If you are a citizen of a non-EU country, you should ensure that you have adequate health insurance. In either case check with your travel agency or your insurance company.

Homestay

At the world congress, we aim to promote cultural and professional exchange among social educators from around the globe. We also wish to showcase Denmark and Copenhagen at their most hospitable. Therefore, we are offering international participants the opportunity to stay with a Danish social educator or another individual interested in hosting a social educator from another country during the congress.

In november 2024, we will open applications for both those who wish to offer a homestay in the Copenhagen area and the international participants who wish to apply for a homestay. Both applications will include options to indicate preferences, allowing us to match homestay pairs with similar preferences (e.g., non-smoking, pets, preferred region of origin for the international social educator, etc.).
